Corporations are economic entities that pursue profits through fair competition. This definition, however, does not properly describe the significance of our existence. Our ultimate mission is not to pursue profits but to be of benefit to society at large. Our corporate philosophy expresses a strong belief and desire to achieve this mission. However, the causal link between corporate activity and social contribution presented in our corporate philosophy is not a law of nature or a self evident truth; it is just a hypothesis.
