Reuse of recycled iron
Recycled iron from AIcone’s manufacturing process is reused as material for the drums.
Contribution to reduction of CO2 emissions
During the manufacturing of the intermediate casing of the unit, the raw material is changed from aluminum to resin. In this process, the emission of carbon dioxide is reduced substantially by 85%. In addition, the method of joining parts has been changed to a welding method using an energy-efficient laser. This will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 380 tons per year.

Unified design for operation panel
Unified control panels for winding unit, auto-doffer (AD), CBF, package conveyor and bobbin supply area. Operation becomes simpler and easier to use, regardless of the operator’s skill level.
Expand VOS setting scope(AD・CBF)
AD and CBF lot settings can now be made on the VOS screen. The tasks that used to be performed by manually adjusting each lot, such as CBF searcher, can be handled by recalling the setting conditions on the VOS screen.

Minimize power loss
The high efficiency of the converter has reduced the loss when electricity is distributed to each device. Energy savings were also achieved by optimizing the standby current of the motor.
Drum and Arm Traverse can be equipped together
The modular design is further pursued from the user’s point of view. The winding unit is redesigned as an independent module at the top, middle, and bottom part. Different types of traverse mechanism can now be equipped on the same machine for each span.
