Cimcorp’s new CEO has been appointed

The board of Cimcorp Oy appointed Masatoshi Wakabayashi as the company’s CEO starting on March 9, 2015.
Since the acquisition of Cimcorp Group by Murata Machinery, Ltd. (Muratec) on October 30, 2014 it has become more and more obvious that Cimcorp and Muratec have great opportunities to benefit from each other’s strengths and competencies. The appointment of Masatoshi Wakabayashi will further encourage this cooperation. 

Cimcorp Group will continue its business as an independent company under the Cimcorp name. The group will offer total material and data flow solutions to the tire industry and unique robotic crate and layer picking systems for food & beverage, ecommerce, retail and postal industries worldwide.

Murata Machinery was established in 1935. It has expanded its fields to textile machines, machine tools, material handling systems, communication equipment, and factory automation for clean rooms, and now has 6,300 group employees and more than 1.6 billion euros annual sales (as of March, 2014).
