Muratec Releases Printing Solutions for SAP Environments
Murata Machinery, Ltd. (hereinafter called “Muratec” / Kyoto, Japan / President: Daisuke Murata), a manufacturer of multifunction digital office equipment and business productivity solutions, announces today that it has successfully developed solutions for printing in *SAP® operating environments and has released MFP Device Types, approved through the SAP Printer Vendor Program, on its global website.
SAP is recognized globally as a leader in business management software. From small businesses to enterprise accounts, SAP software provides solutions that help companies of all sizes run their businesses more efficiently and effectively. In order to assist printer manufacturers in developing solutions to help SAP customers print more effectively, SAP created the Printer Vendor Program that provides printer manufacturers with access to SAP testing and development environments in order to optimize their solutions for SAP applications. Muratec has participated in the program as a silver-level member.
Based on our participation we have developed MFP Device Types to enable our customers to efficiently print from within SAP environments using Muratec MFP’s. We also strengthened our device management tools to enable expedited identification and resolution of printing errors that occur within SAP.
Muratec has released MFP Device Types, approved through the SAP Printer Vendor Program, and will continue to participate in the vendor program to build tighter integration between SAP and future Muratec MFP’s.
