Edit the Basic settings

  • Edit basic settings using the following procedure.
    1. Click the [Basic settings] in Alert Info Plug-in on the top page.
    2. Edit the values of the settings to be changed.
    3. Edited results are stored by clicking the [Update] button.
Explanation
The following settings can be made in "Basic settings".

Popup notification Select whether or not to display popup notifications.
If disabled, popup notifications will not be displayed.
Popup time Specify the time for which to display popup notifications.
If a value greater than "0" is specified, the popup notice will close automatically when the specified time has elapsed.
Communications Timeout Specify the communications timeout time of the device.
A communications error will occur if the device does not respond within the specified time.
Enquiry interval Specify the interval at which to obtain logs from the device.
Network load and device operations may be affected by the specified set time.
Acquisition period Specify the log period to be obtained from the device.
The acquisition period for logs can be specified by subtracting the desired number of days from the the current date.
If "0" is specified, logs with dates earlier than the current date will not be collected.
Log storage period Specify the period for storing old logs obtained from the device.
If the difference between the current date and the log date exceeds this number of days, the log is automatically deleted.
Specify "0" to delete only logs with different dates as the current date.

Additional supplements
The following operations are also possible when editing basic settings.

  • If "Popup notifications" are disabled, the "Popup time" will be disabled and cannot be edited.
  • To end the settings without storing the edits, click the [Return to top page] button.
  • Click the [Return to defaults] button to delete the current settings and restore the default set values.
Restrictions
  • Values 0 to 60 can be used in popup time.
  • Values 1 to 60 can be used in communications timeout.
  • Values 1 to 60 can be used in enquiry interval.
  • Values 0 to 9 can be used in acquisition period.
  • Values 0 to 99 can be used in log storage period.
