First of all we want to give some information about the company, to have a better understanding about the flexibility and advantages of the company. The basic is what we call Mass customization - our philosophy and solution in spinning.
Borckenstein's yarns and twists provide customer-oriented solutions: Low-pilling yarns, flame-retardant yarns and twists, coloured yarns with the highest resistance to light and weather wear, high tenacity yarns and fashion yarns including high-end quality blends like cashmere and silk.
Naturally Borckenstein only uses fibres which meet the highest standards, such as e.g. Tencel and Viscose from Lenzing/Austria, as sustainability is the future.
Newest item is our AJ-Comfort Yarn. Based on the newest machine generation of Air-Jet technology from Muratec-VORTEX we as Borckenstein AG have developed exciting new types of yarns with best quality characteristics.

Now we come to the EXPOFIL September 2008.
In today's market our goal to achieve is: - Be ready for the unknown -. This was also what our customers wanted during this fair. New ideas with high technology. This leads
us to our VORTEX offers - yarns with high performance in sense of pilling, fiber quality
and other advantages for the consumer. For this we are using Lenzing fibers, which means proven quality with the idea behind: Sustainability. Our environment we have to take care of !
So despite to a smaller crowd as usual every customer showed interest in these things and is helping us to believe in a good future for Borckenstein AG, not forget we are spinners in a world wide market already more than 200 years and we will do it again.
