Wilson Wheel® Tooling Application

MURATEC turret punch presses are able to process unique and innovative sheet metal fabrication with the Wilson Wheel. These wheel tools can be used in index stations of MOTORUM series punch presses. There are five types of tools used as follows.

Rolling Shear

  • Create slits in contour using Auto Index

  • Sheet thickness
    Mild steel and Aluminium:
    0.8 to 2.0 mm
    Stainless steel:
    0.8 to 1.5 mm

Rolling Rib

  • Create ribs in contour using Auto Index

  • Sheet thickness:
    0.8 to 2.0 mm

Rolling Offset

  • Create offsets in contour using Auto Index

  • Sheet thickness
    Mild steel and Aluminium:
    0.8 to 2.0 mm
    Stainless steel:
    0.8 to 1.5 mm

Rolling Louver

  • Create Louver in contour using Auto Index

  • Sheet thickness
    Mild steel and Aluminium:
    0.8 to 2.0 mm
    Stainless steel:
    0.8 to 1.5 mm

Rolling Pincher

  • Create slits in contour using Auto Index

  • Sheet thickness
    Mild steel and Aluminium:
    0.8 to 1.6 mm
    Stainless steel:
    0.8 to 1.5 mm
