Developed Japan's first AS/RS for hazardous items.

1973

Developed Japan's first AS/RS for freezing temperature (-40 °C)

1979

Developed Japan's first computer controlled automatic guided vehicle (the "Robo" family) in partnership with Digitron.

1981

Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) began operation at the Inuyama Factory.

1984

Completed Japan's first "single-unit FMS" for diverse product, super-small quantity manufacturing.

1986

Developed SKY-RAV, an automated overhead traveling vehicle.
