Murata Machinery, Ltd. and its group companies (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Company") will endeavor to comply with laws and regulations, and other codes relating to personal information and handle personal information properly and safely in accordance with the following.

5. Transfer of Personal Information to Entities in Foreign Countries

(5) Technical safety management measures
- The Company is taking measures to prevent unauthorized access to information systems that handle personal information as well as theft and loss of electromagnetic recording media containing personal information.
- When taking electronic media or documents, etc. containing personal information out of the office, we implement measures against information leakage, such as data encryption and password protection.

(6) Grasp of the external environment
- When handling personal information outside Japan, the Company implements safety management measures after understanding the system concerning the protection of personal information in the country concerned.
