Establishment of Muratec Automation Europe SARL
Murata Machinery Europe GmbH, Dusseldorf, Germany (wholly owned subsidiary of Murata Machinery, Ltd.), establish new company Muratec Automation Europe SARL, Grenoble, French (MAE, below) on June 1st, 2006. MAE handles automated material handling systems for clean rooms aimed at the semiconductor and FPD industry.
Grenoble, located in Isere in the southeast of French, is a major scientific center in Europe, especially in the fields of computer science.
The establishment of MAE is an attempt to provide customers with faster more close-knit support, to gather the latest industry news, and to create a marketing and sales base which will enhance the effectiveness of proposals offered by Muratec to its customers, and strengthens the Muratec brand within Europe's semiconductor and FPD industry.
