"International Energy Star Program" is energy conservation standard for office automation equipment executed in 1995 by mutual agreement of the Japan-U.S. government to protect the rich global environment. Muratec offers most products including complex machinery that qualifies for the energy conservation standards of the International Energy Star Program.

Muratec is a member of "Green Purchasing Network". "Green purchasing," means purchasing an item considering not only its price, function, and quality, but also various aspects of the "Environment" to minimize the impact on the environment.
What is the "Green Purchasing Network"?
"Green Purchasing Network" is a network with loose regulations established by various enterprises, administrative bodies and private organizations in 1996 in Japan. GPN is in order to promote "Green purchasing". Muratec offers a number of products that follow GPN guidelines, such as products conforming to the Energy Star Program or equipped with cleaner-free systems.

The toner element and the magnetic substance that were not transcribed on the photoreceptor when printing were previously collected into the bottle for exhaust toner. However, with our own technology, we developed a print system that collects 100% of exhaust toner generated during printing and uses it again. It is economical and environment-friendly with no time wasted disposing of exhaust toner. This system has been installed in MFX-1330 series.
